Our client is currently seeking a Learning and Development Manager to lead the learning and development functions within it's distribution centres. This person will ensure effective, standardised practices are in place across all the UK Centres to optimise network performance. This role will primarily be based from Buckinghamshire but will require approximately 50% travel.Key Responsibilities:Ã?· Be responsible for learning and development activity across all UK Centres to ensure that the hourly paid workforce are trained and developed to meet the business need.Ã?· To lead a function that critically reviews the processes within the centres and uses root cause analysis to ensure process training is designed and delivered in the most efficient and cost effective m

Ã?· Experience of working in an operational environment, such as logistics, manufacturing or automotive.Ã?· Candidates will ideally be degree qualified.Ã?· Experience of managing and delivering learning and development programmes across multiple sites.Ã?· Experience of leading teams across multiple locations.Ã?· Result orientated.Ã?· Excellent project management and planning skills.Ã?· Experience of implementing a wide range of change management and process improvement activities.Ã?· Able to develop and implement regional goals and strategies .Ã?· Management Development experience
Ã?· Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing theories and Kaizen
